How Does It
Work?
A double hung window has two sashes that slide up and down so that at maximum, less than half the window area is open.
With FoldUp™ window, the two sashes are hinged and balanced such that when fully open, up to 80% of the window area is open. Besides allowing far more air flow, this can also provide a unique solution for certain egress applications.
